training for the new Animators
A staff training was
conducted for the newly appointed social mobilizes recruited in the year 2018
for the districts of Jaffna, Mannar, Trincomalee, Mullathiuve and Batticaloa,
The Objective of the
program was to introduce the new strategic methods of the NAFSO to the new
staff. The staff was given a training on Social analysis method to understand
the social changes that have taken place. The role of the mobilizes were to
empower marginalized communities. How to develop and improve the project
planning process and the importance of social media to capitalize the work they
do.
NAFSO convener
conducted a session on how the mobilizes should work in the districts based on
this training. A role play was conducted by the new staff to show how they will
work in the field. Staff was provided feedback after the sessions.
