.: Northern Province Fisher People Unity conducted general body meeting

Northern Province Fisher People Unity conducted its General body meeting on the 13th June 2019. Members of this unity discussed about past activities of NPFPU, Fisheries Policy of Northern Province, current issues faced by Northern Fishing community. The unity further discussed the issues faced by fisher women and focused on the needs and purpose of round table discussion with parliamentarians and provincial Council members about Northern Provincial Fishing policy charter to bring it to next level. Mannar, Kilinochchi, Mullaithevu and Jaffna member and NAFSO staffs participated for this discussion. Meeting was held at Yalpadi Restaurant in Jaffna.
