NAFSO
has organized a Results Based Management (RBM) workshop recently for its staff
at a national and district level. The workshop was held at Digana-Kandy from 2
to 4th July 2019 and about
20 participants attended the workshop.
The
main objective of the workshop was to train NAFSO staff on Results Based
Management and help them to realize the changers that are happening within the
projects due to our involvement. Catherine from ‘Alternative-Canada’ was the
main resource person for the workshop. The key themes discussed were
1. Understanding
Results Based Management
2. Designing RBM
tools,
3. Apply RBM to specific
programming.
Participants
were happy and commended the workshop as a very productive event for their
project planning and monitoring. It was an opportunity for most participants to
think about the international development of the RBM.
