International Network
for a Human Economy (INHE) –Asia initiated its first meeting in Karur, Tamil
Nadu, India from 9-11 September 2019. Members from Sri Lanka, Nepal, France and
India participated for this meeting to submit 07 project proposals. AREDS
-India facilitated the workshop.
Gamini Thilakaratne,
Manger Reporting, NAFSO represented the workshop, and submitted the proposal on
‘Project Proposal for Human Empowerment through
an Agro-Ecological Approach in Polpithigama & Karuwalagaswewa communities,
with special focus on the youth, women and farmers.
Members
who participated for the workshop agreed, to develop a long-term
sustainability plans for proposals submitted and resubmit to the INHE
international for possible fund raising.
