The small group of “ Roja” has started a home garden in the
village of Nillamale in Betticalao under the supervision of Betticaloa District
Fisheries Solidarity. The home garden has given crops for the women in the
pandemic period as well. According to the women group, they were able to
consumer the high quality vegetable without paying.The
women appreciated the facilitation of Batticalo District Fisheries Solidarity
in order to develop the home garden in the district.
