.: Betticaloa home garden

The youth organized under the Betticalo District Fisheries Solidarity have conducted series of rendering free services to prepare the land for home garden in the village level. The youth team has developed some home gardens in the Kopaveli and Velikakandi in the Badulla Street in Betticaloa. They have concerned to popular using fresh fruits and vegetables from the own gardens. Batticalo District Fisheries Solidarity Movement initiated to organize an education program for the youth accordance of making organic manure and important of using fresh food. The education program was held on 28 of June 2020. Mr. Sasidaran, District Coordinator of Batticalo District Fisheries Solidarity initiated to hold the program.
