Seeds for women
Southern Fisheries Organization in Galle organized an event to
provide seeds to women for developing home garden. It provided seeds for 15
women members in Ginimellagaha, Galle on 29th of June 2020. Southern Fisheries Organization promotes organic
home garden in different ways.
Organizing practical trainings and provide seeds are the basic
involvements of the organization in promoting organic home gardens in the area.
Providing seeds for the women is a part of the whole process. The organization
has different farmer’s committees. Mrs. Nadeeka Jayamai, Animator of the
organization initiated to organize the meeting in the field.
