Women leaders’ monthly meeting

The monthly women leader’s meeting was held with 13 participants at the Savathripuram, Mannar on 14 of July 2020. The women representatives from different villages such as 5 from Santhipuram, 8 from Geewapuram participated in the meeting. Mrs. Marry Priyantha, Animator of Mannar District Fisheries Solidarity initiated to organize the meeting. It has concerned to develop the membership of the committee, strengthen the internal funding and systematic the micro credit loan system of the committees. It seeks support to the women to strengthen the life condition of them through small scale longs within the committees. The committee concerned to promote home garden in the area. The monitoring the intervention of women committees and manage the administrative matters were concerned in the meeting
