A training workshop on Transitional Justice, Right to Information Act and United Nation convention on the status of Refugees was held on the 31st of July 2020 and 01st of August at a Restaurant in Oruthota, Kandy, for the youth members of North and East provinces attached to NAFSO.
The purpose of this workshop was to educated participants on the importance of
protecting the rights of the people in North and East and rights on their land issues
after the thirty years civil war.
Eminent Attorney at Mr.Iinkaran and Mr.Anthony Jesudasan facilitated the training workshop. Mr.Nalaka Rosiaro, Mr.Laksiri Fernando and Mr.Francis
Rajan, coordinators of the NAFSO supported to the workshop. The participants stated after the workshop that they have improved their knowledge on above subjects. Finally participants prepared the future action plan. 20 youth members
from Mannar, Ampara, Kilinochchi, Jaffna, Baticaloa and Trincomalee attended
this workshop.
