Awareness program on the importance of the creation of a self-sufficient
units and need of such units during the current economic crisis was held on
Thursday 23rd June 2022 at Polpithigama Village, Kurunegala District with the
participation of farmers, fresh water fishermen and women group members in the
area.
200 pepper and cinnamon plants were distributed amongst the participants of the program.
Prof. Kularatne of the University of Kelaniya, Mr. Nalaka Roseiro, Policy Project Officer, National Fisheries Cooperation Movement, Mr. Gayan Abeygoda, School Principal Mr. Ajith Rupasinghe and Mr. Sampath Sanjeewa, District Coordinator, Kurunegala were also present on the occasion.
ස්වයංපෝෂිත ඒකකයක නිර්මාණයේ වැදගත්කම හා එහි කාලීන අවශ්‍යතාවය පිළිබඳව දැනුවත් කිරීම හා ගම්මිරිස හා කුරුඳු පැළ 200 ලබා දීමේ වැඩසටහන 2022 ජුනි මස 23 බ්‍රහස්පතින්දා දින ගොවි, මිරිදිය ධීවර කාන්තා සහභාගිත්වයෙන් කුරුණැගල දිස්ත්‍රික් පොල්පිතිගම ග්‍රාමයේ දී පැවැත්විණ. මෙම අවස්ථාව සඳහා කැලණිය විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයේ මහාචාර්ය කුලරත්න මහතා ද ජාතික ධීවර සහයෝගිතා ව්‍යාපාරයේ ප්‍රතිපත්ති පිළිබඳ ව්‍යාපෘති නිලධාරි නාලක රොසයිරෝ මහතා ද ගයාන් අබේගොඩ මහතා ද විදුහල්පති අජිත් රූපසිංහ යන මහත්වරු මඟපෙන්වීම කළ අතර කුරුණෑගල දිස්ත්‍රික් සම්බන්ධිකාරක සම්පත් සංජිව මහතා ද මෙම අවස්ථාවට සම්බන්ධ වූහ.
